Hey there,

I'm Glynn, a Kiwi native who's returned home after a long stint in the United States. Over there, I made a name for myself as an orthopaedic expert. You know, the guy GP’s, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Medicine Physicians turn to, especially for those tough cases or patients who weren’t getting results at other clinics.

Now, my mission is clear – to bring my 15+ years of experience and that same top-notch quality and care I delivered in the States right here. Known for my upfront and honest approach to treatment, my approach is a breath of fresh air in the world of physiotherapy.

No fluff, no fuss, just straightforward, effective care that gets the job done.

I'm all about giving you the straight facts and delivering treatments that actually work – no gimmicks or unnecessary interventions in sight! I'm on a mission to bust all the myths and misinformation given to the patients.

With a background steeped in sports, a decade of education, and a genuine passion for honest and effective physiotherapy, I've got big plans to shake things up and make a real impact right here on the Coast.

Why choose us

On the surface it can appear that all physiotherapy is the same, but we assure you it’s not. When we say we are different we truly mean it. Typically the next question is “How are you different?”, and for us it is kind of like describing how chocolate tastes like. Well, it tastes like chocolate. It is very hard to explain something you need to experience. Pretty much every thing we do is different, from our philosophy, to our assessment, to our treatment. It will likely be very different from anything you have had before.

Unfortunately, in a world where social proof is important, New Zealand's physiotherapy standards and ethics prevent us from sharing testimonials publicly, rest assured, our track record speaks for itself, with only 5-star reviews on both Google and Facebook. If you would like to see them, just drop us a line.

With advanced degrees, experience from the ICU to outpatient, and a certification held by only 5% of therapists you can assured we have a knowledge level that few can match. We share this not to tout personal accolades, but to give you confidence in us and the level of care we provide.

With tailored treatment plans, evidence-based practices, and a dedication to empowering you every step of the way, we’re here to ensure that your rehabilitation is not just effective, but transformative. Say goodbye to cookie-cutter approaches and hello to personalized care that puts you first.

Choosing us isn't just about selecting a physiotherapist—it's about investing in a partner who possesses the depth of knowledge, experience, and dedication needed to guide you through every step of your recovery journey in the most efficient way.

Pre/Post-Surgery Rehab

We hold the firm belief that surgery in most cases surgery should be regarded as a last resort, given its irreversible implications. Sometimes, however, it is unavoidable. Recognizing the gravity of surgical interventions, we advocate strongly for a thorough evaluation prior to considering surgery. Surgery fundamentally alters the treatment strategy and our proficiency lies in optimizing the recovery process for those who elect this path.

Pricing

So, we get it - our prices might be steeper than some (and cheaper than others).

But here's the thing: we're all about quality over quantity.

Sure, you might pay a bit more upfront, but here's the kicker, we see you less often and get you back in the game faster.

That means you're NOT stuck going 3 x a week and spending months in physiotherapy, which can really add up.

Its funny how we often don't think twice about splurging on things like gadgets, car repairs, or meals out, but when it comes to our bodies - the only one we get - we um and ah about spending money.

We have some good news. You might be able to see us for free!

We are providers under Integrated Care Pathway run by Careway in partnership with ACC.

For certain injuries of the spine, shoulder, knee and ankle you can get your entire care covered.

Give us a call to learn more and see if you might qualify.

How it works

1

Give us a call

We like to begin with a simple phone call. This way, we can discuss your concerns, review any prior treatments you've undergone, and get an idea on whether you might be eligible for free care with the Careway ICP program. It's also an opportunity for us to determine if our services align with your specific needs. For instance, for hand injuries there a specialised clinicians that would serve you better.

2

Initial Evaluation

At our first appointment, I'm all ears for whatever you've got to share about what's going on. My job? Listen up and figure out the possible causes. I'll have some follow-up questions for you to really hone in on what's happening. Then, we'll do a few tests to rule in or rule out what might be causing the issue. Lastly, we'll perform pre and post-treatment assessments to gauge the effectiveness of our chosen approach. This increases our chances of improving things quickly.

3

Follow-up Appointment

Follow-ups are always on an as-needed basis, based on how you're feeling as we go along. It could be once a week, every couple of weeks, or even once a month -whatever your body tells us it needs. If you're killin’ it with the what I've given you, awesome! We'll catch up in a few weeks. And hey, don't sweat it - feel free to shoot us a text or call if you've got any questions or concerns between visits. Yep, you'll get our cell number.

4

Discharge Appointment

If we have done our job, and more importantly you have done yours, our time together will be over pretty quickly (of course, issue dependent). Before you go, we want to make sure that you can do the things that you want and need to be able to do. We will give you a plan for you to manage yourself moving forward, and if you feel like you need a little help before going it alone, we can help with that too!

Personal Training & Pilates

Hey there, I'm Jenn. I'm not just your typical fitness guru. I do things a little differently. It’s a perspective that comes from years of experience not only in the fitness industry, but the “I’ve got a job”, and “I’m a mum” industry.

I’m a realist. I know how difficult finding time for yourself in a day is, or finding the energy to exercise when I could fall asleep if I sat down. Eating right and exercising consistently is not easy, but together we can figure out how we can start to make small changes that are simple and easy.

I’m not here to overwhelm you with lofty goals. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have goals, but it's the steps and process to achieve those goals that are most important.

It's not perfection that’s required, it’s consistency.

I'm here to help you find a way of making fitness and nutrition a seamless part of your everyday life. It's all about forming habits that work for you AND fit your schedule.

With a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Certifications as a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and a Certified Pilates instructor, I've got the expertise to guide you through this journey.
